The Shore Regional Blue Devils will head out to face off against the Colts Neck Cougars at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Shore Regional took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Point Pleasant Beach 63-7. That looming 63-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Blue Devils yet this season.

Meanwhile, Colts Neck made easy work of Freehold Boro on Saturday and carried off a 28-7 victory. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Colonials: they've now won three in a row.

Colts Neck's win came from a few key players Shore Regional will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Bryson Royal, who rushed for 62 yards and three scores. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in November of 2024. Joe Pignatelli was another key player, rushing for 77 yards and one touchdown on only five carries.

Colts Neck was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 236 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 69.7 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five games they've averaged 213.
