Softball Recap: Wilbur-Creston-Keller Wildcats vs. Northport Mustangs

Wilbur-Creston-Keller was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They suffered a rough 19-12 defeat at the hands of the Northport Mustangs. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.

For Northport's part, they got a massive performance out of Kate Beardslee, who scored two runs and stole five bases while getting on base in three of her six plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kylie Colton, who scored four runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-6.

Wilbur-Creston-Keller's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Northport, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
