Basketball Recap: Prairie Home's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

After losing to Chamois the last time they met, Prairie Home decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Prairie Home Panthers secured a 42-38 W over the Chamois Pirates on Tuesday. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Pirates are ranked 311th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Prairie Home's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Chamois, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.

Prairie Home will square off against Jamestown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Chamois, they will face off against Christian Fellowship at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Christian Fellowship's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
