Softball Recap: Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Extends Home Winning Streak to 26

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Dighton-Rehoboth Regional had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Medway Mustangs as they made off with a 13-1 win. Considering the Falcons have won 17 games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Dighton-Rehoboth Regional pushed their record up to 25-2 with the victory, which was their 26th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Medway, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.
