Basketball Recap: Dillon Takes a Loss

Dillon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 51-41 to the Conway Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-46 last Friday.

Dillon's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Conway, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dillon won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Conway, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Conway Tigers duke it out with the Loris Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
