Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Albany walked away with it. They were the clear victor by an 80-56 margin over the Broadmoor Buccaneers on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Albany's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 35-11. As for Broadmoor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-12.

Looking ahead, Albany will face off against Franklin Parish on Tuesday. Albany knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Franklin Parish likes a good challenge. Broadmoor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
