Basketball Recap: Sedan Comes Up Short

Sedan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were outmatched by the South Haven Cardinals and fell 60-17. While losing is never fun, the Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 332nd, while the Cardinals are ranked 82nd).

Sedan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14-1. As for South Haven, they pushed their record up to 15-1-2 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sedan will square off against Udall at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Haven, they will be playing at home against Central on Friday. South Haven is facing Central at the right time seeing as Central is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
