Flag Football Game Preview: Heritage Eagles vs. Regis Jesuit Raiders + How To Watch

The Heritage Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Regis Jesuit Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage hasn't scored more than 13 points for 13 games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Heritage faced off against Mountain Vista on Wednesday. The Eagles were outmatched by the Golden Eagles and fell 47-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado flag football rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked first).

Even if they lost, Heritage's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Phoebe Hudson. Hudson is crushing it when it comes to sacks: she's posted at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Regis Jesuit fell victim to Mountain Vista and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 55-0 loss at the hands of the Golden Eagles. The Raiders have struggled against the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Regis Jesuit's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Heritage beat Regis Jesuit 12-0 when the teams last played back in August of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
