After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Midlothian, Cosby was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Manchester Lancers 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Titans have posted since March 18th.

Cosby has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Manchester, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.

Coming up, Cosby will welcome Richmond High School for the Arts at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Manchester, they will head out on the road to square off against Monacan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chiefs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Lancers surely won't give up without a fight.
