Basketball Recap: Colorado Academy Has No Trouble Against DSST: Montview

It's playoff time, and Colorado Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They enjoyed a cozy 51-35 win over the DSST: Montview Knights on Friday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

It was another big night for James Claypool, who shot 92% from the field to rack up 27 points and five rebounds. The match was his fourth in a row with at least 15 points. Clyde Love was another key player, going 5-for-10 en route to 10 points in addition to five assists and five boards.

Colorado Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for DSST: Montview, their loss dropped their record down to 13-11.

Colorado Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-49 victory against Sterling on the 8th. DSST: Montview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
