Baseball Recap: West Ottawa Comes Up Short

The West Ottawa Panthers came up short against the West Michigan Christian Patriots on Thursday and fell 6-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Ottawa's defeat dropped their record down to 24-15. As for West Michigan Christian, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-14 record.

West Ottawa's road trip will continue as they head out to face Jenison at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 3.5, the Wildcats 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for West Michigan Christian, they will welcome Whitehall at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
