Shea won the last time they faced Times Squared Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Raiders blew past the Eagles 13-1. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.
Taylor Kane was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Laurel Christian, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in May of 2024.
