Basketball Recap: Barker Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Barker can now relate to. They fell 54-47 to the Maple Grove Red Dragons on Tuesday.

Barker's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-14. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points over those games. As for Maple Grove, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-12.

Barker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maple Grove, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-38 loss against Ellicottville on the 27th.
