Preview: University Titans vs. Atlantic Sharks
The University Titans's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Atlantic Sharks at 5:30 p.m. on December 4th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, University lost to Lake Brantley on the road by a decisive 41-27 margin.
University's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aliyah Rosado Cucalon, who scored 10 points, and Sierra Reiter who scored 7 points.
Meanwhile, Atlantic had to suffer through a rough 69-34 loss at the hands of DeLand.
The last time University won on the road was back last Thursday. Having now lost three straight away matches, they've bumped their record down to 0-3. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.0 points per game. As for Atlantic, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Everything went University's way against Atlantic in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as University made off with a 53-27 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for University since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
