Baseball Game Preview: Choctawhatchee Indians vs. Pine Forest Eagles

The Choctawhatchee Indians will take on the Pine Forest Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Choctawhatchee came up short against Niceville on Thursday, falling 13-2. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Choctawhatchee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keeson Wheeler, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Pine Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-0 to West Florida.

Choctawhatchee's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-6. As for Pine Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.

Choctawhatchee took their win against Pine Forest in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 21-0. Does Choctawhatchee have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pine Forest turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
