Soccer Game Preview: Lake Region vs. Harwood

Lake Region hasn't had much luck against Harwood recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rangers will face off against the Highlanders at 4:00 p.m.

Lake Region fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against U-32 on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, Harwood faced Spaulding in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Neither the Highlanders nor the Crimson Tide could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Harwood's first draw of the season.

Lake Region's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1. Harwood's draw gives them a new season record of 5-3-1.

Lake Region suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Harwood in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Can the Rangers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
