Elkins had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Berryville Bobcats. That's more bragging rights for the Elks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 7-4. As for Berryville, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Elkins wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Huntsville on the 10th. As for Berryville, they will head out to square off against Green Forest at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
