            Baseball Recap: Windsor Jaguars vs. Maria Carrillo Pumas        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Maria Carrillo  last Wednesday, Windsor came back down to earth. The Jaguars fell just short of the Pumas by a score of  3-2 on Friday. The Jaguars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pumas earlier this season, when they won  9-1.
 Micah Sanders put in work while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Sanders was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Brandon Curry was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
Windsor's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Maria Carrillo, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
While Windsor had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
