Preview: Central A & M Raiders vs. South Fork Ponies
Central A & M is 3-0 against South Fork since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Central A & M Raiders will head out on the road to challenge the South Fork Ponies at 6:00 p.m. Central A & M is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
On Saturday, Central A & M came up short against Brownstown and fell 46-35.
Meanwhile, South Fork can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They breezed by Sangamon Valley/Tri-City on the road to the tune of 54-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win South Fork has posted yet this season.
Central A & M has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 19-4 record this season. As for South Fork, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-8.
Central A & M beat South Fork 44-35 when the teams last played back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Central A & M since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
