Basketball Recap: Atlanta Takes a Loss

Atlanta lost against Green City back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Atlanta Hornets fell 50-39 to the Green City Gophers. The matchup marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Atlanta's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 14-3. As for Green City, the win keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Atlanta will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Green City at 6:00 p.m. on February 19th. As for Green City, they will welcome Linn County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
