After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hawthorne, Chiefland was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Lafayette Hornets with a sharp 46-26 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Indians have posted since January 14th.

When it comes to explaining why Lafayette lost, don't look at Tywan Williamson. Despite the final result, he posted eight points and six rebounds. Parker Hill was another key player, putting up eight points.

Chiefland's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Lafayette, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Chiefland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 74-39 victory against Bronson on the 3rd. Lafayette has also already played their next game, a 68-36 win against Hamilton County on the 3rd.
