Basketball Recap: Meyer Takes a Loss

Meyer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 24-20 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rosehill Christian Eagles.

Meyer's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Rosehill Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Meyer and Veritas Academy will face off at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Rosehill Christian, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Westbury Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
