It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Dublin Scioto had no problem doing just that on Monday. They blew past the Walnut Ridge Scots 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Irish sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Olivia Konerman was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played. Juliet Johnson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Dublin Scioto was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive matchups.

Dublin Scioto's record now sits at 19-4. As for Walnut Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-5.

Looking ahead, Dublin Scioto will face off against Licking Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Walnut Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
