West Shore Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Friday. They skirted past the Mount Calvary Christian Chargers 7-6. For West Shore Christian Academy, this counts as revenge for the 14-3 win Mount Calvary Christian walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.
Connor Edwards was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. Edwards was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
