Basketball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a blow against the Holt Rams, falling 85-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-2 two weeks ago.

Everett's record now sits at 1-13. As for Holt, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Everett has already played their next game (against Grand Ledge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Holt, they will face off against Fowler at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Fowler knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Holt likes a good challenge.
