Preview: Brighton Charter Tigers vs. Jefferson Prep
Brighton Charter has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on Jefferson Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Brighton Charter has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.
Brighton Charter posted their closest win yet this season on Monday. They skirted past Sonoran Science Academy 45-43.
Jaziel Nunez was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 20 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Dylan Mastrapasqua was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with 12 rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Jefferson Prep came up short against Our Lady of the Sun Academy on Wednesday and fell 57-49.
Brighton Charter's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6. As for Jefferson Prep, they bumped their record down to 3-7 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
