League recap: Butler extends winning streak with victory over West Forsyth

4A Conference 6 recap December 3, 2013

Butler extended the longest winning streak in 4A Conference 6 this week by beating West Forsyth, 48-7. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.

Butler took down the Titans 48-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Rocky River's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Elijah Jett chipped in 83 yards.

Jett was a passing and rushing force as the Ravens fell to Dudley.

Rashaad Brannon was the best receiver in the league this week as Rocky River fell to the Panthers. Brannon tallied 1 reception for 23 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Butler takes on second place Rocky River. Brian Hales' team beat West Forsyth last week, while Jason Fowler's team fell to Dudley.

Isaiah Robinson has rushed for 938 yards on 146 carries so far this year.

So far this year, Isaiah Hicklin has thrown for 1,800 yards with 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

The Bulldogs led 4A Conference 6 in scoring this week by notching 48 points on Adrian Snow's team.
