West Perry waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Big Spring Bulldogs by a score of 24-17. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 30-13 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chase Fry, who rushed for 89 yards, and also threw for 107 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. Jesse Binger helped out on the ground, rushing for 103 yards.

West Perry's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Big Spring, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.

West Perry has already played their next contest, a 38-14 defeat against Trinity on the 10th. As for Big Spring, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 35-6 loss against Susquehanna Township on the 10th.
