Baseball Recap: Cary Academy Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Cary Academy can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Trinity Academy Tigers by a score of 6-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Cary Academy's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Rutger Jack, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Andrew Wessels also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The victory got Cary Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Trinity Academy, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cary Academy will face off against East Wake Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity Academy, they will host St. Thomas More Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
