Volleyball Recap: New Hampstead Takes a Loss

New Hampstead was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Warner Robins Demons. The Phoenix were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Demons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Warner Robins scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18.

New Hampstead's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Warner Robins, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-17.

Coincidentally, New Hampstead and Warner Robins will both be playing Perry the next time they take the court. The Phoenix will head out to face the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Demons will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
