Wheaton North came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the West Aurora Blackhawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Falcons also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Wheaton North didn't let West Aurora take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23.

Aidan Syswerda paced Wheaton North's offense, picking up 12 kills. Syswerda got some help from Owen Hubner and his 13 assists.

Wheaton North pushed their record up to 22-10 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for West Aurora, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-13.

After both having extra time off, Wheaton North and Lake Park will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Aurora, they will face off against Marmion at 2:00 p.m. on the 24th.
