Charleston Math & Science managed to keep up with St. John's until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Charleston Math & Science came up short against St. John's, falling 5-1.

Meanwhile, Palmetto Scholars Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. Palmetto Scholars Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by three goals or more this season.

They hit Military Magnet Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Logan Queen (4), Miles Jackson (2), and Caysen Clark.

Palmetto Scholars Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 30 goals over those five contests. As for Charleston Math & Science, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2-1.
