Volleyball Recap: Carlsbad Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Carlsbad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Artesia Bulldogs. If the Cavemen/Cavegirls were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Carlsbad started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 28-26, 25-6, 25-16.

Carlsbad's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

After both having extra time off, Carlsbad and Lovington will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Artesia, they will take on Alamogordo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
