Baseball Recap: Lamar Takes a Loss

Lamar suffered their biggest loss since February 23, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 12-4 to the Kingwood Mustangs. The Texans have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Kingwood, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Lamar will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wisdom at 7:30 p.m. on March 18th. As for Kingwood, they will be taking part in a tournament against Clear Creek at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
