Recap: Hightstown Rams vs. Ewing Blue Devils

The Hightstown Rams suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 59-32 loss at the hands of Ewing. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hightstown has scored all season.

Ewing had a senior duo take command as Rhian Stokes dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten steals and Te'Yala Delfosse dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds. Stokes is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Joi Johnson was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Hightstown's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Ewing, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hightstown and Hamilton will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hamilton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 369th, while Hightstown is ranked 71st). As for Ewing, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. John-Vianney at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
