Softball Game Preview: Sageview Lobos vs. Hermiston Bulldogs

The Sageview Lobos will take on the Hermiston Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sageview will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Sageview is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They lost 27-15 to Walla Walla on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Hermiston posted their closest victory since May 23, 2025 on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past Southridge 10-9. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Suns recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Jazlynn Ramirez was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Devin, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hermiston kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Hermiston's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Sageview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
