Softball Recap: Pleasanton Extends Winning Streak to Seven

While Pleasanton didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on the Dilley Wolves with a sharp 13-0 win on Saturday. Considering the Eagles have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Amiryah Rodriguez was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Thalia Martinez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Pleasanton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dilley only posted an OBP of .111.
