Nanih Waiya has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 21 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 46-24 margin over Eupora. That's two games straight that Nanih Waiya has won by exactly 22 points.
Meanwhile, Winona was beaten by Grenada 57-24 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Winona can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 229th, while Grenada is ranked 106th).
Nanih Waiya pushed their record up to 9-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Winona, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
