Recap: Oratory Prep Rams vs. Hillsborough Raiders
It was a good run, but the Oratory Prep Rams unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to Hillsborough. Hillsborough's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Philip Unangst led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. The game was Unangst's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Green, who scored 15 points.
Oratory Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-1. As for Hillsborough, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
Oratory Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Abraham Clark at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hillsborough, they will head out on the road to face off against Immaculata at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Immaculata knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Hillsborough likes a good challenge.
