Apex Friendship put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Jordan Falcons by a score of 61-54. Give the Patriots' offense some serious credit: that high-scoring performance was actually the fewest points they've scored all season.

Jordan lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brendon Watley, who went 6-for-10 en route to 15 points and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Duece Sumpter, who posted 13 points and six rebounds.

Apex Friendship's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Jordan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Apex Friendship and Jordan should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Patriots will square off against Apex at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (11 vs. 268). Meanwhile, Jordan (ranked 67th) will meet Discovery Charter School (ranked 200th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
