Softball Game Preview: Whale Branch Warriors vs. Barnwell Warhorses

The Whale Branch Warriors will square off against the Barnwell Warhorses at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whale Branch has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with four straight losses, while Barnwell will come in with six straight wins.

Whale Branch is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Hampton County on Friday. They came up short against the Hurricanes, falling 16-1.

Whale Branch saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sylise Edwards, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Barnwell got the win against Edisto on Friday by a conclusive 19-1. The Warhorses might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Barnwell's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Whale Branch, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
