Basketball Recap: Three Forks Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games

Three Forks had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took down the Manhattan Tigers 68-54 on Saturday. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Tigers are ranked 28th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Three Forks has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points over those games. Manhattan moved to 7-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Three Forks nor Manhattan have any future games scheduled.
