Basketball Recap: Vertus Warriors vs. Bishop Kearney Kings

Vertus lost against Bishop Kearney back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors took a hard 71-55 fall against the Kings. The loss put an end to the Warriors' undefeated start to the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bishop Kearney to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaiden Pascoe, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. Pascoe is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Gorham, who posted 12 points in addition to six assists and four steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Vertus fell to 2-1. As for Bishop Kearney, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
