With a playoff win on the line, Eastern Randolph rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Mitchell Mountaineers with a sharp 84-63 victory. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Timothy Brower was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 23 points and 11 assists. The game was his third in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of William Stalker, who posted 11 points in addition to eight boards and seven steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Eastern Randolph was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mitchell only nine assists.

Eastern Randolph has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.8 points over those games. Mitchell's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-10.
