Center is 0-9 against Monte Vista since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. Center has given up an average of 42.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Center's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Ellicott last Friday. They were outmatched by the Thunderhawks and fell 36-0.

Meanwhile, Pagosa Springs kept up with Monte Vista until halftime last Friday, but afterwards: not so much. Monte Vista put the hurt on Pagosa Springs with a sharp 42-21 win. Monte Vista's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Monte Vista's win came from a few key players Center will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kelby Mondragon, who rushed for 170 yards and one touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Manny Jiron, who threw for 163 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight passes.
