Recap: Preble Shawnee Arrows vs. Twin Valley South Panthers

The Preble Shawnee Arrows won the last time they faced the Twin Valley South Panthers, and things went their way on Thursday too. Preble Shawnee came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 37-27.

Preble Shawnee found their leader in underclassman Aubrey Unger, who scored 12 points along with two steals. Unger hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Caylee Hatmaker, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Twin Valley South's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kiki Allison, who scored seven points along with six rebounds. Jordan Ritchie was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals.

Preble Shawnee's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Twin Valley South, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.

Preble Shawnee will stay at home for another game and welcome the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. Ansonia is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Twin Valley South, they will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Tri-County North focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten last Saturday.
