Basketball Recap: Roger Bacon Comes Up Short

Roger Bacon lost to Ursuline Academy back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans were dealt a 49-15 loss at the hands of the Lions. The game marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Roger Bacon's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Ursuline Academy, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Roger Bacon will venture away from home to challenge Purcell Marian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ursuline Academy, they will head out to take on Wyoming at 7:30 p.m. on February 2.
