Baseball Recap: Dwight-Englewood Comes Up Short

The Dwight-Englewood Bulldogs didn't have quite enough to beat the Teaneck Highwaymen on Thursday and fell 4-3.

Dwight-Englewood saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jimmy Burke, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Dwight-Englewood has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Teaneck, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dwight-Englewood will square off against Wood-Ridge on Saturday. As for Teaneck, they will face off against NV - Demarest at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
