Volleyball Recap: South County Takes a Loss

South County was the 2-0 winner over Bunker Hill when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vipers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minutemen on Thursday.

While South County was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14.

South County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Bunker Hill, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. South County will venture away from home to square off against Triopia/Virginia at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bunker Hill, they will head out to challenge Dupo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
