Baseball Recap: Diamond Bar Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Diamond Bar came into Monday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Valencia Tigers with a sharp 7-1 win on Monday. The Brahmas not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 27th (when they won 6-0).

The team relied heavily on Sebastian Roseli, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Matias Gallardo was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Diamond Bar kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive games.

Diamond Bar now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Valencia, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-10.

Diamond Bar wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-7 defeat against Schurr on the 6th. As for Valencia, they have also already played their next matchup, a 7-6 loss against Anaheim on the 5th.
